Over the past three decades, Huamei has remained committed to one mission - to explore the essence of education with reverence. We believe education is not the industrial "polishing of parts", but a profound integration of respecting natural laws and unleashing human potential. How to answer the fundamental questions“who do we cultivate, how to cultivate them, and for whom to cultivate them" is not merely a grand proposition of our era, but also the foundational principle that Huamei constantly benchmarks against in its day-to-day school operations.

Having dedicated myself to international education for over three decades, I took part in founding Huamei Education. Starting back in 1993 as China’s first private school established by a group of overseas returnees, Huamei has grown into a closed-loop, ecosystem-based lifelong education service platform. Centered on international school operation, reinforced by a full spectrum of extended supporting educational services, it adheres to the positioning of Quality, Premium, Distinctiveness and Internationalization. Over the past thirty-plus years, we have witnessed and participated in the historical progression of China’s private education from its pioneering beginnings to its rise. As a trailblazer in private education reform, Huamei Education upholds the commitment that “A thriving education brings a thriving nation; a strong education makes a strong country”. Focused on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, we keep responding to the national strategy of building a powerful education nation and the call for international talents for national rejuvenation. Rooted in this educational haven of Huamei, we have nurtured tens of thousands of students, empowering them to fulfill their dreams in personal growth, global further studies and career development.

作为从业近四十年的“老”教育人，时至今日我仍然常常在思考：“什么才是真正的教育？教育的本质是什么？教育只是要教会学生书本上的知识吗？”面对日新月异的社会与经济变革以及变化的环境所带来的对人才竞争力不断加速迭代的需求，我认为：“如何培养出真正能够直面变化莫测的未来并从容应对的全球化公民，如何通过教育过程培养学生具备可持续发展的核心素养，如何以教育之光去点亮学生的进取之心、求索之能、以至他们面前的人生之路”才真正是需要我们这群教育工作者深度思考并穷极生命去探索的“教育的核心价值”所在。而近四十年来，华美在教育领域的潜心耕耘和磨砺成长也正见证了我们这群初心不改的华美人对此教育核心价值孜孜不倦的求索与诠释。
As an educator with nearly four decades of Education industry experience, I still often reflect on a series of fundamental questions: What constitutes true education? What lies at the essence of education? Is education merely about teaching students textbook knowledge?
Against the backdrop of rapid social and economic transformation, alongside accelerating demands for talent competitiveness in an ever-changing world, I firmly believe that the core value of education — the very mission worth lifelong exploration for all educators — lies in three essential pursuits: how to cultivate global citizens capable of facing and adapting to an unpredictable future with composure; how to foster students’ core competencies for sustainable development throughout the educational journey; and how to illuminate students’ aspiration, exploratory spirit and lifelong paths with the power of education.
Nearly forty years of dedicated dedication and steady growth in education has witnessed the unwavering commitment and tireless pursuit of all Huamei educators to interpret and practice this ultimate core value of education.
